Ghost1606688907 Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 Hi, Since the last update it removed my saved binded joystick controls. I have re-set them all but now there seems to be an issue with tms up using the tgp. It wont lock on to a target it just wobbles around and starts to scroll down? I tried to set tms up to a keyboard bind to see if my joystick was the issue but I get the same thing using the keyboard. Has anyone had this/found the issue
tweet Posted January 2, 2022 Posted January 2, 2022 You almost certainly have TMS UP bound twice in your key bindings. It's most likely another USP device that you have plugged in that DCS recognizes. That causes conflicting commands that result in odd behavior. Another possibility is that you have "Synchronize Cockpit Controls with HOTAS Controls at Mission Start" is checked on the MISC tab in Settings. That one has been know to cause odd behaviors too. It's a good idea to be sure that only the controllers you use and have key bindings for are plugged in when you run DCS.
Ghost1606688907 Posted January 3, 2022 Author Posted January 3, 2022 Hi, Thanks I double checked the "Synchronize Cockpit Controls with HOTAS Controls at Mission Start" and it is not checked. I also double checked that no other button is assigned to the TMS up but it is still the same..
Deano87 Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 (edited) If you're using a mini stick for TDC axis make sure you set a deadzone on it. Sounds like your axis for TDC might be slightly jittery and so the TGP is always moving a very tiny amount. pete_auau Posted January 3, 2022 Posted January 3, 2022 thats why you should back up your control settings so if the update does break your settings somehow you can revert back to the saved settings

I forgot about the axis tune for the mini stick. 1 hour ago, pete_auau said: thats why you should back up your control settings so if the update does break your settings somehow you can revert back to the saved settings Yep, have just backed them up now!
