Huge errors in 3d Model when using "cargo view" to look at own helicopter.

When you use the "cargo view" function to look out of the pilot's or copilot's side window, there are huge errors in the 3D model when you look at your own hull.

The main wheels are missing completely, the tailrotor boom is not connected/missing structure and the main engine/rotor connection is missing cowling/external skin.
It the same on own sides, the view from the copilot side isn't better.

This is quite immersion-breaking , kindly fix this.

See attached pic , with problems marked in red:

This is because the "cargo view" was added later and DCS has "2 external models". 1 for the outside view(the nice/shiny one) and 1 for the cockpit view("performance optimised"). The one from the cockpit view is not what you see if you hit F2... The "cockpit" external model will have reduced details(not visible in mirror or by "normal" head movement from the inside of the cockpit) or some "workarounds" visible if you use VR, i remember a "wall" behind the huey cockpit to "solve" light shining into the cockpit from behind....

They are just old models, before VR was a thing in DCS and the modules had to be "VR bulletproof" - look at the FW190A8, you will still see missing things in VR or "misaligned" cockpit to 3d model like with the F-14 if you leave the cockpit in VR that are not visible in the F2 external model but it is not htat dramatic like with the old 3d models like the Mi-8 or Huey.

Modules: KA-50, A-10C, FC3, UH-1H, MI-8MTV2, CA, MIG-21bis, FW-190D9, Bf-109K4, F-86F, MIG-15bis, M-2000C, SA342 Gazelle, AJS-37 Viggen, F/A-18C, F-14, C-101, FW-190A8, F-16C, F-5E, JF-17, SC, Mi-24P Hind, AH-64D Apache, Mirage F1, F-4E Phantom II

Thank you for the explanation! Nevertheless I still consider this quite a bug and immersion-breaking.

Less details and lower texture resolution (for better performance) would be totally fine for me for the cockpit view , but not large gaps and missing essential structure like wheels and tailboom. Even with „just“ trackIR it’s annoying.

kind regards,

Maybe someday if they ever rework the 3D model like they did for the Ka-50....
