Reactivator Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 When on ground, asking Jester to input new HOME BASE coordinates (from map or LAT/LON, doesn't matter) will update your current aircraft position coordinates. So lets say I am on a carrier before transition flight to a new aerodrome and want Jester to make our destination as our new base in nav system will change our current position. This obviously not happens when airborne. Actualy, I found it's usefull to have an option to update our INS, but maybe there's should be more straightforward method, like a dedicated command in a Jester menu? Thank you.
Wawar Posted January 12, 2022 Posted January 12, 2022 Had the same issue when I was creating a flightplan. Workaround : I Create an homeplate first, then the waypoints. Otherwise, Jester will update the current aircraft position on one of the waypoint I asked for.
Super Grover Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Thank you for your reports. I tested entering home base on the ground and an aircraft carrier, and I couldn't reproduce your described results. Could you provide us with more details, like the mission, screenshots, or a video? Tholozor Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 (edited) What I've noticed is that if you command Jester to enter a waypoint while another is already being input, he will switch to the aircraft and enter the waypoint position as the aircraft's. I'll post a track up later. Super Grover Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 Interesting, I'll take a look. I remember it worked when I tested queuing entering more than one waypoint, but it was long ago. I'll let you know about the results. Thank you. Krzysztof Sobczak Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
