Sovietrat has written on Lockonfiles that Lock On Reload & Airbase mod can be used for DCS Black Shark and i did it successfully (of course, for summer only) ;)

So, i think at this time we can temporarily use that great mod for LOFC on Black Shark (Russian version) while waiting for DCS-BS Western version and a new terrain mod released :music_whistling:

 

Just do it manually:

+ Unzip LO Reload & Airbase Mod

+ Copy "R1.cdds" and "R2.cdds" to...eg Ka-50 Black Shark\ Bazar\ World

+ Open Config folder => open graphics.cfg with Notepad then add 2 lines

common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\R1.cdds";
common = ".\\Bazar\\World\\R2.cdds";

under highFolder = ".\\Bazar\\TempTextures\\"; => Save

 

Done!

 

Have a look on new BS terrain: :P

(sorry for my bad english)

 

I did it several weeks ago, there's a bug with trees, there "heads" are cutted. We can see it on your last screen or in that one : BSLOR_009-1.jpg.

 

You can correct it by oppening R1.cdds with CDDS Explorer of modman.

Unpack all TGA files on your HDD.

I dont remember exactly the name, but there a file like "trees-For.tga" (witch contains several trees) to delete.

Then you can create again the file R1.CDDS using ED CDDS Studio and place it in the right directory.

 

All trees will be correct.

 

And i found an other bug under Vista, sometimes Roads are partially cutted. it's a mix of BS roads and LO reload roads... I didin't find how to correct it.

 

I'm at job now so i can't have a look of the right file's name to delete, but if someone send me the list of files contained in R1.cdds (by PM) i could find it and modify my post.

You're right, there's still a bug with tree, lots of trees have peak cutted

And you corrected the bug by deleting just one .TGA file ?

 

List of all files in R1.cdds are very long. I'll post a list of .TGA files related to TREE, hope you can help:

sorry, so it's not a file begining by "tree", it's "more down" in the list and has a "-FOR.tga" in the name or "R-FOR.tga" something like that.

Thanks, i've extracted all .TGA files in R1.cdds by CDDS Explorer and deleted R_FOR.tga

But could you help me how to create them again in .cdds

 

I have CDDS Studio, but i only know how to convert .BMP files into CDDS :D

"Rules of use.

1.Run CDDSstudioD.exe

2.Select in menu Edit --> Add files.

3.Select all your *.tga files for one CDDS.

4.Click on the SAVE icon, enter any name of file and press SAVE.

5.Select in menu Edit --> BUILD CDDS.

6.Enter the desired name and press SAVE.

7.If all is OK, then utility begin process and after complete building CDDS will ask press any key."

After step 5, everything is not OK and 2 text files named "Error" and "TextoDDS" appeared, what was wrong ? :(

 

Everything is OK if they are all .BMP files :mad:

.BMP ??? files must be .TGA in your new CDDS !

When you unpack the R1.CDDS, you just have to clic on "extract all" and nothing else.
