I'm really enjoying it so far--I've learned a ton, and I almost feel like every aircraft ought to have a campaign like this one. This is only a minor issue, but I'm curious--I've just flown the Navigation Part 2 and the Independence Day missions, and, while I got a score of 100 on every mission up to these two, I only got 75 on them, despite no negative feedback from the instructor or anyone else. I had the "MISSION COMPLETE!" message on my screen when I left the mission at the end of the Independence Day mission and I think it was also there on the previous one as well. Is there something simple and dumb that I'm doing wrong? Obviously this doesn't really affect the campaign--I can still progress, of course, but I wondered if there was something I was missing out on.

I've updated Independence Day one to be more easy on formation flying for the player - this is the part where you can loose some score. As for NAV part 2, I'll need to check what is the issue. FMBluecher Posted January 24, 2022 Author Posted January 24, 2022 Cool, thanks! And, my apologies, I meant Nav Part 2B, not Part 2. I thought it might be that I didn't do great formation flying (I didn't!), but I was confused because I received no feedback that my formation flying was anything other than stellar. I am actually totally fine with not giving the player 100 points if they don't do great formation flying, I just would like it to be a bit clearer that that's why they didn't get 100 points.
Blackbird7 Posted January 29, 2022 Posted January 29, 2022 Yes, some feedback on failed checks would be great, I would know where I fail and what to improve. And I would have nothing against a bit strict scoring. Independence Day was awful, I thought I will fail the mission, as I lost Biff, then found him half a mile in front of me, just after fireworks. Not really close formation flying as needed. But got score 75! Also, in AAR, longest refueling interval was under 10 seconds. Then I messed up ILS landing and landed on 21R instead 21L. But here I got score 100 even if I did poor job on two of mission objectives. I think scoring is very forgiving (at least in some missions). I would replay if I didn't get 100 and I knew what was the reason for failure. On the other hand, some are extremely long missions and would be harsh to be very strict. Just a few more missions and I can give final verdict, but so far I love the campaign!
