AGM-88c in Too mode.

Hi,

Anyone having trouble with the Harm Agm-88c using Too mode. I flew a few missions in a DCE campaign, sead in the Persian gulf. I get a Too lock on an active sam that is tracking my plane on the rwr, hawk, sa6 or sa2. Any harm fired using Too just fly by and don't pitch down. I had this working fine a few months ago.

Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

There is an internal script running in DCE that better mimics real operations where the radars are "suppressed" rather than killed every time. The algorithm will run each time a HARM is launched with barely 1 in 3 going on to kill the radar. However, the SAM operators do shut their radars down when a HARM is detected, which gives the strikers the opportunity to take out the site. Timing is more critical in DCE campaigns.

Very helpful thing to know. Thinking about it this became more noticeable when I started using the NG version of the campaigns.

Yeah, it got me at first, but I think it is a very good and realistic implementation. It definitely forces you to be on time with the package, whether you are SEAD or Strike.
