Nealius Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Same issue as Andersen and Tinian North Field having trees that are 2~3x higher than they should be in real life, as well as a bit too close to the facilities. For Harrier use of the LHA markings, final approach is at 60' AGL. The trees are 60~62' in height making a NATOPS LHA approach on these markings impossible. For rotor use, they would come in around 30' AGL, half the height of the trees immediately next to the runway. Looking at current Google Maps, the landing area and LHA markings are faithfully represented, however the clearing between the landing area and vegetation, as well as the short height of the vegetation, has not been modeled, making these LHA markings wholly useless in DCS in their current state. 2
