If you buy one of the older packages - you'll have 2hrs DCS gameplay / 2 weeks ownership to refund if it's not what you expected i.e. by checking your folders

However, I'd advise waiting until ED and Steam sort their App ID's as my old (Christmas purchase) "Gazelle NS430" folder has disappeared after the latest "Open Beta" 2.7.10.18996 update and am not sure if it's a Open Beta or Steam issue.
