Toni Carrera Posted February 2, 2022 Posted February 2, 2022 Hi All, I am playing a mission that revolves around inserting a Team on to a Super Tanker. As part of the mission, you have to enter MGRS co-ords in to the GPS/NAV system My question is, how do you actually get the co-ordinates in the first place, obviously we are all use to Lat/Long, so I trying to work out how you find the entry such as '40R DQ 3804 3988' Ideas? Toni Carrera (Ice Rhino) ThrustMaster HOTAS Warthog Throttle & A10C Stick, ThrustMaster F/A-18C Stick, ThrustMaster TFRP Pedals, ThrustMaster Cougars x 2, fitted to CubeSim USB Screens, TrackIR 4 Active LED & Cap Reflector, Stream Deck XL Intel® Core™ i7-5820K 12 Core Processor, 32GB RAM, 1 x 500GB SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD, 1 x 1TB SSD 4 x 4TB Western Digital Mechanical. 2 x ASUS GTX 1080's SLI, ASUS 29" Ultrawide flanked by 2 x 22" IPS Monitors
Toni Carrera Posted February 2, 2022 Author Posted February 2, 2022 Never mind this question, I have found the solution - https://www.movable-type.co.uk/scripts/latlong-utm-mgrs.html This converts Lat/Lon to MGRS Thanks Anyway Toni Toni Carrera (Ice Rhino) ThrustMaster HOTAS Warthog Throttle & A10C Stick, ThrustMaster F/A-18C Stick, ThrustMaster TFRP Pedals, ThrustMaster Cougars x 2, fitted to CubeSim USB Screens, TrackIR 4 Active LED & Cap Reflector, Stream Deck XL Intel® Core™ i7-5820K 12 Core Processor, 32GB RAM, 1 x 500GB SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD, 1 x 1TB SSD 4 x 4TB Western Digital Mechanical. 2 x ASUS GTX 1080's SLI, ASUS 29" Ultrawide flanked by 2 x 22" IPS Monitors
Grimes Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 RIght Alt + Y changes the coordinates in the editor and F10 map view. It has 3 types of lat/lon, MGRS, and in game XYZ. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.
