deviletk Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 (edited) Ah thanks yet again Crunch! EDIT: I couldnt open my .TRK in the latest TACVIEW it seems. I read on the website and it says "open your flaming cliffs/black shark track files". And when i try OPEN in the program it doesnt show .TRK files. Tried open one and i got an error. Bummer, that porgram looks awesome. Gonna look for an older version. :) Edited December 14, 2008 by deviletk Regards Alex "Snuffer" D. Vyrtuoz Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 .acmi files are not the same as .trk files Please read again the "How it works?" section. I never talked about track files on my web site ;) Ah thanks yet again Crunch! EDIT: I couldnt open my .TRK in the latest TACVIEW it seems. 104th_Crunch Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Yes Track .trk files are recorded and played back within Lock On. See the other pages of this thread. Vyrtuoz's Tacview makes it's own .acmi files in the temp folder under your Lock On folder after you set it to record. Read the "How it works?" section on his site and the help menu in Tacview.
Brit_Radar_Dude Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 deviletk - you said you have vanilla Lockon, I assume patched to v1.02, sadly for you TacView only works with Flaming Cliffs v1.1 or later, so won't work for you. You will have to make do with watching the track you made of your flight. If you open a track in the Mission Editor, then you can edit it and change views with F1,F2,F3,F4,F5,F6, etc, etc to get a better view of the fight from external views, missiles view, etc, etc. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
deviletk Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Thanks guys for the info! Yes indeed it is LO vanilla. I have watched the tracks as you mentioned BRD, but i wanted that slimmed down simple 3D objects viewer. Looks so neat. :) I will get use for it in BS though hehe. Thanks all.
