84-Simba Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Hi guys ! I'd like to create an automatic radio message for the AI to inform me that they are starting to taxi. I think I can use an argument but I have no idea how it works. Can someone enlight me on this and how I can achieve that ? Thx
Rudel_chw Posted February 6, 2022 Posted February 6, 2022 Place a small trigger zone in front of the AI lead, then an aircraft in zone trigger can generate the radio message. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
84-Simba Posted February 6, 2022 Author Posted February 6, 2022 Well, I thought about that but understanding those argument things (if they are usable) would help clear the airfield of a multitude of trigger zones and it would be great for other things, like bingo, weapon release and other stuff ...

As far as I know, ARGUMENTS can be checked on triggers using these two conditions: UNIT’S ARGUMENT IN RANGE, used for checking animation argument for any 3D model in mission PLAYER’S UNIT ARGUMENT IN RANGE, used for checking animation arguments for player’s 3D model of unit in mission It seems to me that these triggers can only detect animation events, like flaps and gear movement, canopy open/close, etc. I doubt it helps to detect if an aircraft begins taxi, or its bingo level. It might be used to detect weapons delivery, but I have never tried them myself. To get the valid arguments you would have to use the ModelViewer utility. 1 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
nighteyes2017 Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 why not check the units speed? unit speed higher than condition. 1
