Obviously the Plus+ variant option with SuperHornet radar with AIM-120C and AIM-9X cap.

Also would not mind Hellfire and/or Brimstone for anti-tank work. HarrierII likely can carry those munitions, though not in real world. But Marines did put laser guided Hellfires on MC-130K tanker in AfPak.

I think that rate of fire of GAU-12 is low compared to RW. Watching YT videos of GAU-12 testing seems its more like GAU-8 on rate and sound.

There  will never be a Harrier with an APG-79.  AV-8B Harrier II+ aircraft got APG-65 radars from F/A-18s that were being upgraded to APG-73 radars.  These allowed AIM-120 use, but I would not expect the C to make it.  Every picture I see is a big wing model (likely B).  As for the AIM-9X it so far has never been approved.  Only current modernization plans call for AIM-120C and AIM-9X with JHMCS and L16.  While these technologies are all in DCS, RAZBAM will not have access to documentation about how they are integrated into the Harrier and as such would not be able to make a proper simulator.  Likewise Hellfire/Brimstone, never implemented so it won't happen.  LJDAM can drop a tank, so can Maverick, a few APKWS might too.  There are already tank busting options for the Harrier.

As to the GAU 8, it should be ~3,600 rpm or 60rps which should empty the tray in about 5s.  I think this is in line with what I see in game.

Last time I checked, it felt like it was firing slower due to rather poor sounds, and the fact you don't have a tracer on every round. However, I haven't flown the Harrier in a long time.

I believe tracers go on every 5th or 10th round. Armor piercing, HE, incendiary round are interspersed with PGU combat mix, but don't have exact proportions.

In DCS AV-8B, GAU-12 sounds weak. RW sound is tearing chainsaw with deep base. Maybe in RW , the sound is pop-pop, in AV-8B. I'd be happy if RAZBAM just poaches GAU-8 from A-10 modules. It'll be closer to real thing and add a bit 'drama to the sim.
