Krippz Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 The ASUS Striker II Extreme is definitely one of the best (if not the best) LGA 775 motherboards currently on the market. Depending on your budget you may find it on the expensive side (i.e. sub $200.00 US Dollars). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 64th "Scorpions" Aggressor Squadron Discord: 64th Aggressor Squadron TS: 195.201.110.22
JG27_Arklight Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 (edited) I believe the ASUS Rampage Formula supports SLI and it is also a pretty highly regarded board. The ASUS Striker II Extreme is not really one of the best LGA 775 mobos on the market. It also utilizes DDR3 RAM, IIRC. http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16813131274 On Newegg, 44 out of 97 ratings for the ASUS Striker II Extreme rate it at 3 out of 5 stars or lower, 30 of those being 2 stars and lower. It is also quite expensive (about $40 or so more than an ASUS Rampage Formula). The Striker II Extreme is currently $329.99 at Newegg. The 790i chipset is, IMO, overpriced.
