billythebassman Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Flying a mission, I switch to the map using f10. When I want to get back in the cockpit none of the function keys [e.g f1,f10 ]will accomplish this nor will the Esc key. I'm flying the Yak 52 in the aerobatic campaign I found in the user files. I have seen this issue raised many times but have not found a resolution. Has anyone definitively solved this issue. I hate having to reboot the game losing all progress on the missions. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Flappie Posted March 5, 2022 Posted March 5, 2022 Please ensure you haven't changed the "F1 Cockpit view" keyboard control: Go to Options > Controls Select Yak-52 Look for the line "F1 Cockpit view". F1 key should be affected to it. If it's not, select the line and click "Default". ---
billythebassman Posted March 5, 2022 Author Posted March 5, 2022 (edited) Flappie, Thanks for the quick response. Yes, I double checked the "F1 Cockpit view" it is mapped to the F1 key exactly as in your picture. I also have this view mapped to a controller button (non-sticky) on my HOTAS. VER 2.7,by the way. Flappie Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 I've just tried said campaign, and I can switch between F10 and F1 views. Can you switch to any other view? F2, F3... ? Please reproduce the issue then attach your dcs.log file (found in Saved Games/DCS.../Logs). ---
