Catalog of Special Interest Places

Has anyone by chance started a catalog of special interest locations like government buildings, power plants, defense infrastructure, etc? There are some awesome details on many of the maps, but when I want to build a mission sometimes it is a real bear finding something useable.

Something I made to visualise POI's in Syria, although can apply anywhere. In this instance I was looking for helipads and what kind of buildings were around them, highlighting hospitals. It's a simple bit of code and the output can be very robust.
