F15c Georgian War Mission 1

Hi, not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but I am having an issue with Georgian War Campaign mission 1. I do everything correctly, climb out, hit waypoint 2 at 30k, relieve escort - pushing awacs, escort E3 to waypoint 3, get relieved, fly to waypoint 4 at 18k, get into close formation and push Georgian planes, follow in close formation to waypoint 5, and then through waypoint 6 at 6k, head towards waypoint 7, get messages from Georgians (tell them we won't be joining) and then tell wingman to push to waypoint 7 at 20k, he acknowledges and follows in formation at 20k all the way to waypoint 7...we don't get any message from awacs about bogeys like I have seen on all the videos.

If I just continue to waypoint 8 and then land we do not get a mission success. I have tried asking awacs for a "bogey dope" and "picture" from waypoint 6 to and after waypoint 7, they always report "clean". Any idea why the bogey report isn't being triggered by the awacs on the way from waypoint 6 to waypoint 7?

I'm running on DCS 2.7 steam edition
