DCS Module Manager Freezes when accessed

Hi Team, hope you can help.  After having some DCS loading problems, I decided to remove DCS and do a fresh install, now have version 2.7.10.19473.  After installation, I went to load my modules from the Module Manager and this action causes DCS to freeze, resulting in a CTRL-ALT-Delete and ending DCS in Task Manager.  Have the log attached and have tried a Full repair, however same problem persists.  Appreciate any help, Dave

Hi. It seems DCS has a hard time accessing its "Saved Games/DCS" folder.

Have you messed with your Saved Games folder recently?

Yes: rename the existing "DCS" folder contained in "Saved Games" into something different (e.g. "DCS_backup"), then start DCS.

Does it fix the issue? If so, we'll take a look at your "DCS_backup" folder permissions.

Great, will try that and advise the outcome, thanks

Hi Flappie, that worked, was able to access Module Manager and download the modules, Huey and Mi-8 and Nevada, that is good, but the original problem which caused me to update still remains, that is in loading Instant action for the Mi-8, cannot get past Terrain Graphics  Init:97, caucus.ng5.  I will raise a new post for this and upload the log, hopefully that can be sorted.  Thanks for your kind help, Dave

Excellent. You can try to retrieve your custom controls from the "DCS_backup/Config/Input" folder. I just hope they won't be plagues with the same issue, but it's worth a try.
