Currently running Vista Ultimate x64 with 4Gig of Ram. Completed the first 2 missions of the first campaign without any issues.

Hope things go smooth as I just spent £300 to play this game right: bought:

Superfetch is just a total waste of time! No idea what they thought they were achieving. Nearly all new the features of Vista are disabled here. Memory usage is still crazy though after boot (650 Mb).

Best regards,

An (if not the most) important criterium of OSs is response time and prefetching serves in decreasing startup time of often used programs significantly.

Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two.

its pointless to run x64 with less than 4gb anyway.

can't report performance problems running vista 64.

Then again, depends on system specs.
