colyoap Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 This was brought up before and marked "Correct as is". It is not as per the manual attached. The windshield wiper knob IS spring loaded from PARK to off. Balzarog Posted March 20, 2022 Posted March 20, 2022 Perhaps the manual is wrong. That sometimes happens during development of or changes to a system. That would explain why it’s reported as “correct as is.” When all else fails, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! i-7 8700K Coffee Lake 5 GHz OC CPU, 32GB Corsair 3200 RAM, GTX1080 Ti 11Gb VRAM. colyoap Posted March 20, 2022 Author Posted March 20, 2022 I believe it was reported as cor.as-is due to the fact that @NineLineasked the original op to provide any source that it should be spring loaded and he could not. Therefore, it was assumed to be correct. I'm providing a source. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/295351-windshield-wiper-switch-park-position-not-spring-loaded/?do=findComment&comment=4916353 I just happened to be pursuing the bugs forums after just having read it in the manual, so figured I'd share Callsign: "Milkman" I7-8700k@4.8--Corsair H115i pro--EVGA FTW3 1080ti--GB Aorus Z370--256GB M.2 SSD--16GB ram--Win10--1000wGold Rate PSU--CV1 Rift--TIR5--X55 HOTAS--TM pedals--TM MFDs--Custom UFC
ED Team Raptor9 Posted March 20, 2022 ED Team Posted March 20, 2022 It should be spring-loaded out of PARK. The quick start manual is correct in this case. Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
