Devrim Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) Hi. This is bug or not, I have no idea. In a multiplayer server, I ordered full quantity of flare. I moved the slider all the way right, and crew did loading. In the air, according to the CMWS panel, I had 90 flares. One press on flare launch button on cyclic > now it shows 75 flares. One more press on the button > now it shows 60 flares. And after then it drops one by one. Dropping from 90 to 75, I didn't check if I launch 15 flares. I don't think so. Thanks. IzeHouze Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Can confirm Flare count incorrect. 90-75-60-59-58-57
DeMonteur Posted August 2, 2022 Posted August 2, 2022 I can confirm this behaviour. When I rearm Flares in chaff dispenser they are released in 2 bursts with 15 flares. Then program works normally. CMWS display displays correct count of flares. Means after first push after reloading 90 flares goes to 75 then 60 then continues 59. Flare_Rearm_to_chaff_disp_bug.trk 132nd vWing
ED Team Raptor9 Posted August 2, 2022 ED Team Posted August 2, 2022 (edited) Thank you for the track. While the behavior within the track is not intended, the fix may be to limit the flare slider to 60 and the chaff slider to 30, to avoid this scenario. The intended use of the 30-round chaff bucket is meant solely for chaff, not flares. As such, during rearm operations, the countermeasure sliders should always be set to 30 for chaff and 60 for flares. I understand this may not be the resolution that some players may desire, but in the interest of accurate behavior of the module, there shouldn't be an ability to load more than 60 flares. EDIT: This appears to be fixed internally. Edited August 3, 2022 by Raptor9 1 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
