  1. As far as I know speed hold is not installed on this version of Mi-8. It is sepparate switch left of the AP indicator. At least on Mi-171Sh from Ulan-ude. I never heard or read that altitude hold is connected to speed hold also
  2. Thats the problem. You cannot control the helicopter from middle seat. You can move cyclic and collective only when you occupy left or right pilot seat.
  3. Thats usually the problem with handling the collective too roughly. Generators whent off when main rotor RPM goes under 87% and its shuts down the autopilot. You need to be more gentle with collective.
  4. Yes, the behaviour when you jumping between seats and you keep transmiting on the old seat radio setted on right SPU7 is a bug. It doesent get to the new setting until you change radio or ICS/RADIO transmitting. Visuals are correct. Internal logic is not synced. And what is the problem about ARK-9 and ARK-UD? For ARK-UD only the arrow on the left UGR-4UK can be switched to VHF source. The right one will keep showing the ARK-15 frequency
  5. I cannot give @GumidekCZ specific numbers since I don't remember them because it is not important for me. All I know is gyroscopic precession is not compensated by swashplate because it is not needed. I need to compensate for gyroscopic precession only when I am entering too quickly to steep turn (45 degree turn). If I increase bank about 10deg/s, gyroscopic precession is too small to have any noticeable effect. Please try to find the exact numbers If you have them somewhere
  6. Maybe there is needed some trimming like you see only black or you will see some broken glass effect... But main goal of preventing you from using sight for missile guidance after you exceeded limitation is done. I believe there is not enough data( maybe I am wrong I just do not have them) for visualisation how it exactly looks like, when you exceed the sight limits.
  7. I believe this is the simulation of damage caused to the sight when you exceeded gimbal limits
  8. I find a workaround. It seems that hot started helicopter is with collective brake pressed by default when you are hot in air or cold on ground. If you press the button Collective Clutch Lock/Release Button, it will release that button and Alt channel will start working. For cold helicopter you need a bit of playing and maybe pressing the Collective clutch lock button and AP button in same time to start working.
  9. Yes. I didnt fully understand that you referring the AI. Anyway this behaviour of AP is definitly not correct.
  10. That not how it suppose to work. Collective friction clutch release button disengates the altitude hold of the autopilot and only way to reengage it is to press the altitude channel button on control box.
  11. If you use true heading you will get nonsense heading with added variation to true heading. Thats why he reporting it. In other words. When NS430 calls it magnetic heading it is true and when it calls it true it is totaly off number.
  12. I understand your problem. It is caused by lacking the possibility to resetting the heading AP by some quicker way like it is in RL with microswitches on pedals. I will make the request... Best way will be probably few options like pedal microswitch keybind or reseting heading channel
  13. Yaw channel of autopilot when it is on on AP panel in Mi-8 is disengaged as soon as you have foot on rudder pedals because there are microswitch in each pedal. Then the AP heading index goes to the middle position and the AP do not hold the heading. When both (ok all four with MC in mind) microswitches are released, the AP will start to hold heading. Microswitches in pedals are not simulated in Mi-8 yet, so I suggest you to do not use heading channel of autopilot unless you want to fly straight.
  14. On Mi-8 when you press fire button, safety cover is automatically opened.
  15. DISS-15 counters don't stop on 0 deviations. It just continues up to 999km where it suppose to stop( I've never tested it because it took pretty long to get there). Moreover the heading counter drum goes roughly frrom 995 to 365 degrees. I hope you will have DISS-15 in almost all its crappiness soon
