Pixel of Life
When you tell George to search for targets, he moves the TADS at a constant rate until it lines up with where your helmet sight reticle is pointing. This means you need to keep looking at the target until George is done. If you look away too soon, he'll point the TADS in the wrong direction. This should be changed so that George doesn't try to chase the helmet sight, but instead remembers the direction you were looking in when you pressed the button. Mad_Shell
I disagree. This behaviour mimics a human CPG having the pilot's LOS set as his acquisition source, then slaving the TADS to it, and deslaving once it's in the right direction. If you have a human CPG, you won't tell him "Look at my LOS with the TADS", then move your LOS around before he's looking where you want. ED Team Raptor9 Posted March 26, 2022 ED Team Share Posted March 26, 2022 Like Mad_Shell said, the TADS only knows where your LOS is, not where it was at a given point in time; so until the TADS reaches that location, it can't remember it's location. Which is accurate to the real thing. 2 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man.
