Liberation campaign questions

Hi guys,

im interested in trying the Liberation campaign and was wondering if it modifies any DCS files to the point that it could affect joining other servers when ive finished using Liberation?

How easy is it to uninstall?

Hey Daz!

Installing Liberation it's pretty easy, it comes in a zip archive, you just have to unzip it and, at the first run, the program will ask you to give it the path for your DCS folders. It does change some files (actually, I believe only one in the Script folder), but this doesn't trigger the integrity check and you can go online without troubles.

Uninstalling is as easy as deleting the main Liberation folder, the Liberation saves folder in your \Saved Games\DCS folder and restore the modified file in the DCS Script folder, in the main installation of the game.

Hello guys.
In the same mission setup in single player campaign i have the F-10 marks while if i host the same on multi no F-10 marks are placed despite the fact that the option is ticked in mission options.
Is that normal?
Is there a way to show F-10 marks in multi?

Check the multiplayer option when you start the session (should be under "advanced" or something similar), IIRC, the host server options override any mission specific ones.

In any case, guys, could I suggest that you post your questions in this thread, Liberation's official one?

We're in the Persian Gulf - Scenic Route campaign. It got time to start transferring planes so we clicked on the 'Air Wing' button to pick a squad and we got this message, and it won't go away unless you hit OK or ESC about 20 times. Does anyone know a cure??  Thanks!!
