how do i keep seeing hud when i turn my head left or right

i saw it on youtube even when looking around he could still see his hud and lock and fire, i fly f\18 i have tried in the f18 subforum nobody answers

There is a dial in the cockpit (front left lower I believe) that adjusts the brightness of your head mounted display if that’s what you’re talking about. Try turning that dial up. There’s also an axis binding for it if you have an extra axis on your joystick.

Yep, it's most probably not a HUD but HMD or JHMCS.

There is also one of the DCS options (cheat) that let's you view the actual HUD when looking around.

That's your dial.  Turn it off if you don't want to see the HMD when one is looking out the port or stb side of the cockpit.
