815TooCooL Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 (edited) Like this. You can find it here. http://www.majorgeeks.com/WinLauncherXP_d870.html Some IL-2 guys(like me) usaully launch program from it and use core 2 exclusively since IL-2 doesn't have advantage using Dual cores. So, if BS benefit by Vista affinity trick, I think WinLauncherXP could do the trick in similar way by checking core1 and 2. I hope someone tried this setup and if there's no one, someone might try it. It does no harm. :D Edited December 16, 2008 by =815=TooCooL picture not showing properly System: Core2Duo E8500, 4G ram, GTX260, SLC SSD, and Vista 32bit. LG W2600HP 26" LCD. Nate--IRL-- Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 The problem might be that Black shark is actually 2 programs, the simulation DCS.EXE only starts after you have left the GUI. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
Prophet Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 This seems to be just another program to set affinity. I highly doubt there will be a benefit in XP. For Vista, wombat's scripts are the best.
