Mission 4

On mission 4 where I'm spotting for artillery. I'm above the outpost, however I do not see any artillery shells falling. I've circled it twice but don't see any explosions or smoke or anything to correct. 

Is this the right place?

UPDATE: i just randomly chose a direction to adjust and then saw the shell, then asjusted back the other way and was able to hit the outpost. i think the problem is they only fire 1 shell and if you're not looking at the right spot you don't know where it landed.
