f-16c dog fight mode radar locks

Hi all,

                     Can anyone confirm in dog fight mode does radar lock only lock bandits and not IFF friends or does it lock any aircraft in the scan ?

It locks the first contact that it sees. It does not care if it is friendly or not, it will lock the contact regardless.
