Hello, since we mostly share the same hardware components and peripheral drivers like Virpil's, logitech's, AMD's, Thrustmasters' and so on, we can build similarities.

Has anyone had failed Win10 updates lately, in particular 05-2022 KB5013942?

Cheers

I'm starting to think that it's something related to AMD CPUs.

Installed successfully moments ago, MSI X470/2700X system. Maybe something else?

On my part, when it fails, I have a BSOD during it's restart and then, during the next boot, CPU light is on.

MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, R5 3600 here.

AMD here, no issues. Installed that update on 20+ PC's and likely also servers and no issues.

do a "sfc /scannow"  and if that reports errors use DISM to repair them

"dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth"   --to see if there are issues

"dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth"  --checks if those issues can be fixed

"dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth"  --this finally repairs issues with your dataset.

After that I would do a "sfc /scannow" again and see if it says "All good".

had that last week after a powerloss,  ehhhh  4 reboots with errors and the above fixed it.

***You must launch Command Prompt as Administrator*** to fix it.

Thanks, I did all that already, no go yet. There's something conflicting Kernel level.

Same here! I tried eeeeeeverything. Including resetting WU components using the tenforums script as well as renaming the softwaredistribution directory from within Linux. I keep getting the 0x8007000d

I haven't missed my linux-only setup so badly in a while.
