Ok so I have been working on the weapons ranges in my learning process with the Apache. I have gone through the training missions and watched all of Wags videos.

One thing I am not quite wrapping my arms around and probably going to be a dumb question. When I get into the Pilot's seat the first thing I do is go into my kneeboard for that mission and enter some targets from the kneeboard. They show up on the TSD just fine in red when I change from Nav to Attack. Then I head out to the range, and can not quite figure out how to get George AI to target them - instead he just brings up the usual lists of targets I can pick from. Cursor depress over the target seems to not do anything.

What am I missing here in this process? Any tips would be very much appreciated.

George is unaware of any points you have saved in the TSD.  He is all about searching where you are looking, providing a list of things he sees, and letting you pick one for him to target.

The ability to swap seats in single-player missions is key, in my opinion.  Let George do the boring work holding the helo in a hover as pilot, and you take out those targets you have saved from the front seat. 🙂

I have George bound to my hat switch when I am piloting, I have my right MPD as video targetting (I am not up with all the correct terminology) so on the right MPD, right bottom for vid, then right top for tads, then top right for tads. Hat switch up to laser the target, then a list appears of targets, then select target going up or down the list, press right to lock the target, then the target should appear on right MPD with the cross hairs over it.  Before you right press you can go up and down the list of targets and you can see the cross hairs move from target to target, so you can chose one in the open. Then when you are in range press the fire button and hopefully you get a shot off.

So in short, with the Right MPD on vids you can see if you are locked on a target, or if the cross hairs have lost the target and just moving with the flight of the Apache.
