Hello,

I was parked and trying out the various Ground crew radio commands. I discovered the following, but I do not know if its actually like that in real life (can they pump out excess fuel?)

So I had an almost full tank of gas (both in the Forward and Aft tanks). Then I asked the gun crew to refuel me for 25% fuel via voice commands. The needles then dropped down to reflect 25% fuel load.

So is this a design choice? Or simulating real-life (ie they can pump out gas too)? Or a bug?

Thanks

It's not a bug but by design in game.

How do you get repaired i Didn't see an option to do so in maintenance . Or Do you have to fly out to a FARP. which i know the R means repair but i just wanted to be sure and also wanted to know if there was a way to do so at airport.

When I was flying tourists in a Kawasaki KH4 we often had to pump fuel out if we had 3 heavy pax and high ambient temp, otherwise she wouldn't even hover IGE :pilotfly:

To repair, just shut everything down and wait for several minutes. I think after 2 or 3 minutes you will see a big pause on the game and your cockpit will be open and all switches reset to initial set up.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.

I do not know anything about helicopters, let alone KA-50. But aircraft that I have work before, you can refuel or defuel very easily (relatively speaking) It normally depends on how the aircraft moves fuel around. It could be by using an external air source together with ground electrical power or just ground electrical power, siphoning systems, etc. Just need a fuel truck or equivalent to provide the fuel or take it away.
