ianick Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 Hi, Something's bothering me, i often use the ACM mode in F18 and i also regulary switch from StandBy and ON.. The problem is when you set, let's say, a LHAQ mode in StandBy mode and turn it ON, it exits ACM mode and return to a scanning mode. Eventually you lose time, you re dead.. Is it realistic? i mean when in combat can you go silent? Can it be set to "when i turn the radar on, i keep the settings of how i wanna use it?" Please advise BR
razo+r Posted June 5, 2022 Posted June 5, 2022 You should try the silence button on the DDI of the radar instead of rotating the radar master mode.
ianick Posted June 5, 2022 Author Posted June 5, 2022 that might end like this because looks like no "hotas" way to make it tx
Bubba Gump954 Posted June 11, 2022 Posted June 11, 2022 (edited) Not gonna start a new thread for this so i'm just going to put this here. But On the TDC Acquisition Cursor the upper number and lower number that gets displayed for the altitude covered by radar is that altitude AGL, ASL or or feet above and below your current altitude null Edited June 11, 2022 by Bubba Gump954
