Hi everyone,

Let me preface by stating that at no point in time does trackIR stop working, it works great. The issue is with the mouse.

When i first get into the cockpit, TrackIR is controlling the point of view just fine, and the mouse wheel controls zoom, while the left and right clicks work appropriately.

After I go to an outside view and hit F1 to come back into the cockpit, TrackIR is still working just fine, but now the mouse wheel does not control zoom anymore, although the left and right clicks work. If I use C - LAlt, the mouse wheel now controls the zoom, but I have no yellow crosshair cursor and cannot click on any switches. By once again hitting C - LAlt, the yellow crosshairs come back, I can click on switches, but no more zoom being controlled via the mouse wheel.

Is there a way to get back to what I first had when entering the cockpit, where the mouse is controlling both zoom and able to click switches?

Thanks,

Hi...same problem here. So far can`t fix it, and I need zoom!!!Track IR is not zooming so much like mouse wheel:). Of course TIR4 is working fine.

I have the exact same problem everytime I look outside the cockpit. I'm sure it's a bug. I solve it by pressing the Esc key and then resuming the game.

It's a bug, think everyone has it, trackir or not.

Escing and returning gives you a special mode where you have mouselook + clickable buttons at the same time! :D

Hi there

it's not a bug, we need the mouse wheel for turning knobs! use the zoom keys on your keyboard or map it to the joystick, but let the mouse do what it should do.

it is indeed a bug. like what grodin says, it happens when you hit the esc-button and goes back again. At least for us with trackir.

Ok. However, I use TrackIR4 as well and it works fine for me.

One little trick: Set the curves for the X Y and Z axis to a higher gain. This way, you need the zoom much lesser, because you can have a "closer look" with your head.

My values are between 20 and 35, and linear and it's just like real .

I programmed my mouse wheel to send "C+LAlt" when I push it. That way I can zoom, press the middle wheel, then have the clickable funtion. It works out pretty good until this is fixed.
