What recording looks better: 1080p vs 1440p?

Anyone notice if 1440p looks better than 1080p for cinematic recording? I would think some of the clunky models, like in the terran, would look better in lower res.

Also, if I'm using a 5600x, would 1440p recording be too demanding on it? It's paired with a gtx 1070, but I could upgrade that to a 3060 ti soon.

Generally speaking, unless you're running a real potato recording is not that demanding. Drive space can be an issue, if you're using something uncompressed like FRAPS. Also, processing and upload times when your video is finally ready. Here in the US, upload bandwidth usually sucks balls and it takes FOREVER to upload something so I usually do 1080p for THAT reason.
