When hovering in a no wind condition I would expect the IAS and the ground speed (GS) to respond the same.
this is how previous update have worked. In the current update, the IAS will continue to read “0” until the GS is approximately 5 knots and will continue to lag the GS as I accelerate. The difference between IAS and GS appears to diminish as airspeed (A/S) increases. As an example, if I accelerate the aircraft to approximately 5 knots using the velocity vector/acceleration cue, then translate the aircraft 360 degrees while maintaining 5 knots and a constant heading, the IAS will continue to remain at “0” when it should be indicating 5 knots. Probably a little wordy…sorry 👍

I'm not seeing the behaviour at all. In the current build the true airspeed in the HDU (I'm assuming that's what you are talking about) shows the wind speed if static on the ground and pointed into the wind. In the previous versions the readout that should have been TAS was actually GS at low speed, so it showed values even if you were going slowly enough that the ADS wouldn't read.

Interesting…the ADS’s are Omni-directional and should show the wind speed when the aircraft is static regardless of which way the aircraft is pointing. You are right, now that I think about it you never did see wind speed on the ground in the previous builds. My issue is with the lag in IAS while at a slow hover, it continues to show “0” airspeed until the aircraft movement, as shown on the velocity vector/acceleration cue nears saturation (about 5 knots). Even then it appears to lag the apparent aircraft speed.  I can’t believe that the ADS system would be that insensitive, low airspeed/wind sensing is kinda why they are there. Try this with “0” wind and let me know what you think. Thanks for the input.
