Mouse movement with VR

Hi

Even though I have mapped a lot of buttons to my stick and throttle, I still use the mouse quite a lot to push buttons/switches in the virtual cockpit. 

Now what is a bit annoying is, that when you aim for a button with the mouse and you do a tiny head movement, the cursor moves with it. Is there any way to "dampen" that connection between head movement and the cursor?

Why not bind mouse buttons to hotas (I use the warthog pinky paddle as a modifier for the CMS switch - left/right for clicks and forward/back for wheel) and simply use VR mouse and the cursor will slave to the headset movements.

When you start flying manually position the cursor in centre of view and then you just look at a control and click hands free

I tried this solution for about two days, not much I know, and didn´t get used to it. But many on my virtual sqn work with that
