Hey everyone, I`ve got an NVME M.2 SSD and 24gb of ram. I was trying to experiment with the Preload radius settings but couldn't come to a conclusion as results in FPS didn't vary that much. With 24gb of ram, how much do you think I should set it to?

It's complicated. Generally NvMe M2 SSD read speed should not slow down any amount of in game loading to a point it affects the fps at any time. But it can happen (stutters, freezes) when your RAM is full and it's constantly loading/deloading terrain, objects and textures. I advise to set it according to your gfx settings and play type. You can go with max setting when in SP and low gfx settings. Go with lower setting when running higher gfx settings and MP.

Is it true that preload radius no longer works as intended and better be turned off to minimum to speed up map load times?
