Marianas - Training Missions for the UH-60L Blackhawk helicopter Mod

 Hello,

I have been really enjoying learning and flying this really excelent helicopter Mod:

 

 

Since this Mod didn't had Training Missions, I started to edit training missions for it, and I believe that they turned out pretty well, so I'm now sharing them here, this is the download link

To use these missions, you need obviously the UH-60L Mod, get it here:

The missions are based on the free Marianas Map, but as its installation is optional you may not have it installed yet. It requires around 14 GB of disk space. I know some DCS users dislike this map because it has lower performance than Caucasus, but I honestly am tired of using the same old Map over and over again, so Marianas is for me a breath of fresh air and it offers a very different experience from Caucasus.

 

I'm also aware that there are DCS users that are put off by the synthetic audio on the voiceovers, but while I can read and write english fairly well, my spoken english is pretty awful  .. you are much better off with the synthetic voiceovers, trust me 

 

Here is a series of video walkthroughs for each mission, that may help if you get stuck when flying one of them:

 

 

If you find any bug while flying these missions, please report it on this thread and I will do my best to fix it.

Are there instructions for adding the training missions and also the lua file.

These missions are meant to be uncompressed on your /Saved games/DCS/ folder, obviously you need to first have installed the helo Mod first, as these missions will be placed within the UH-60 Mod's file structure.

Mission 1 Cold start is Hanging up at request start up for me. Is there an issue with mission or is it me doing something wrong. I hope its fixable this is a great mission. I wish you did it for AH-64 as well

I will check it tonight .. the UH-60L mod has not changed on a long while, but DCS changes almost every month and so some trigger may be broken .. let me check and I will get back to you.

The Apache didn't need my missions, as it cames with its own set of Training missions, the UH-60L needed them more, as it had none

Please, can you describe the issue in more detail? ...  as I'm unable to reproduce .. on my DCS I can request start-up as normal.

Do I have to have PTT bound? I use the Back slash key and it will go no further for me. Thats what it was> I had to have PTT bound.

yes, the mission even shows up an illustration of the ptt bindings.

just uncompress the zip file on your /saved games/dcs/ folder, the lua will then be placed on the proper spot.
