Mission 3 - Turning off TCN turns off the DL?

This is a bit weird - maybe nothing to do with the campaign, but I've never encountered it before. Although it might have happened on the first two missions also, because the datalink was being weird there too.

I use the Tacan to locate my wingman on 15X, but I suddenly discovered that if I turn off the TCN, all my contacts disappear on the SA page and reappear when I turn it back on again. However, if I turn off the DL - nothing. The contacts stay on the SA page.

It's weird... it's as if the TCN has absorbed the DL's functions.
