AFAC Questions

According to the new patch notes, the F-14 can now be an airborne forward air controller (AFAC). I know the Kiowa can do it too (and it's fun playing an Apache with the Kiowa as spotter). 

Does anyone know which other aircraft can be AFACs please? Or is there a clever way to find out without building a mission 50 times over?

A lot of Aircraft can be AFAC. Simply place a aircraft, choose AFAC under task and then you have a list with all planes that can do the job.

An other question is how capable these planes are for the job.

I'll give it a try

BTW it works really well with the Kiowa because it can stay still and low

I use the Reaper drone, A-10´s, F-15´s, infantry, etc. A lot of options just check on Mission Editor as stated.

Ah the A-10 would be a good option too
