walt262 Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Would it be possible to setup the buttons on the VIRPIL throttle & stick in DCS instead of using the software?
Lange_666 Posted July 27, 2022 Posted July 27, 2022 Sure, that's the basic to set controllers up. Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base, MFG Crosswind pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S, Elgato Streamdeck XL. Personal Wish List: A6 Intruder, Vietnam theater, decent ATC module, better VR performance!
Zeagle Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 Yes. You have to use the software to load in the latest firmware and calibrate your axis. Each new version of the software will require a firmware update and calibration. I actually like the Virpil software. It lets me setup switches and buttons however I need to. But the actual mapping to cockpit items is done in the sim. 1
walt262 Posted July 28, 2022 Author Posted July 28, 2022 How do you set up VIRPIL devices to different aircraft so you can go back and forth between aircraft?
_Hoss Posted July 28, 2022 Posted July 28, 2022 It does it automatically when you choose either Game/Sim setup for your bird of choice. Sempre Fortis
