reported Commands to George while CPG in NVS NORM can crash DCS

1. What happened that resulted in the issue?
   1. Switch from Pilot to CPG
   2. Set NVS switch to NORM
   3. Switch back to Pilot
   4. Issue several commands to George CPG by normal means
      1. Commands have no effect
   5. Switch back to CPG and set NVS switch to OFF 
      1. Previously issued commands from Pilot to CPG flood DCS
      2. If a large number of commands were queued, this results in crash of DCS
2. What were you doing that caused, or seemed to cause the issue? 
   1. Refer to #1.  Left CPG in NVS NORM, switched to Pilot, issued commands
3. Could you reproduce it?
   1. Yes, this is not mission specific and has no other requirements beyond description above in #1
4. What module where are you using, and does it happen with others?
   1. Apache module
   2. No mods running
   3. Game mode off
   4. Using latest beta DCS build 2.7.16.28111

 can you please include the crash zip folder it will have your dcs.log and a track replay hopefully. 

It can be found in your saved games dcs log folder

I have not reproduced the crash, but have reproduced the strange behaviour with the NVS norm and stored messages

team have found the issue and we are testing a fix, as soon as it is tested it will be open beta.

Work around for now is to ensure the NVS switch in the gunner position is in the position correctly when leaving the seat

Thanks Bignewy.  I only got it to crash once, and that was the first time it occurred.  On subsequent tests I don't think I issued enough commands over long enough period of time. 

When the crash happened I kept issuing commands to George periodically, but ended up going guns from the Pilot seat.  There were an enormous amount of commands in the queue because I was flying for over an hour in the reported condition before I switched to CPG and went NVS OFF.  I didn't get a track, but it seemed obvious that the commands all executed at once instead of in sequence.  I saw the text fill my window then DCS was just gone.  I'm glad they were able to reproduce the root cause.  Tell me if there's anything else I can do.

Hi, 

we have a temporary work around coming for this issue in todays open beta 

if the gunner has NVS on we wont get TADS option as a source, so then we can not give orders to George. 
For now ensure if you have been in the CP/G position that you turn off the NVS switch before moving back to the pilots seat. 

In a future patch we will have a more elegant solution for this issue.
