Need Training Video & Documentation on Current IFF & D/L!

Honestly, with current implementation there isn't much to it.  Press the IFF button and press ON.  If you're doing MP then you might need to colonize/enter your IFF code in Mode 2/3 by pressing the appropriate button on the UFC.  For SP, just IFF and ON is all you need.

For the D/L, press the D/L button TWICE (first press gets you into DL 4 for automated carrier landing), and press ON.  For SP that's about all you can do with it currently.  In MP you can enter a channel in the MIDS A and B via the UFC and use those radios (again does nothing in SP).

That pretty much covers all that I'm aware of that you can do with either of them.

That's all that's available right now. And for differences between SP and MP (IFF Mode 2/3 and MIDS A/B), they only matter for LotATC and SRS, which are 3rd party software.

It will be nice when the new documentation person gets the Hornet manual caught up.  There have definitely been a few changes and additions in the last year since they updated it last.
