RedBear311 Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 ED, Module Creators. Am I the only person who has been waiting for a fix for the F-16s FLCS since they changed to the "digital" system. Issues: 1. Wallowing during high speed manuevers. 2. Tendancy to over roll. 3. Weight physics feel heavy and unrealistic. This is purely as case of if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The FLCS was more realistic prior to the implementation of the new system. Kind regards Joe
Dragon1-1 Posted August 6, 2022 Posted August 6, 2022 Surprisingly enough, this is realistic, as confirmed by SMEs. You're just sed to old FM. Payload weight should feel heavy, because the Viper itself is very light, so when you load it up, it becomes a lot heavier. It also doesn't like low speeds very much. Roll has been confirmed as accurate, the real jet is like that. Not sure what you mean by "wallowing", but it's probably something the real jet does, as well. FLCS is great, but it doesn't turn off physics, and it's not quite as advanced as people imagine. To me (I've had some stick time in the other sim), it feels better than before.
RedBear311 Posted August 6, 2022 Author Posted August 6, 2022 (edited) I should of mentioned that that I use the F-16 as part of an aerobatic duo. We fly empty. I understand the SIM is designed for Milsim. But as a supposed realistic representation of the flight dynamics, I can't believe General Dynamics would release an aircraft in that state. I would like to meet some of these so called real world pilots that have agreed it's accurate. Edited August 9, 2022 by RedBear311
