Stupid Wingman and no VR Zoom

If I send my Wingman out to engage, he doesn´t make use of his standoff distance but rather goes in for a knife kill resulting in getting shot down. Obviously. #twoejecting

Secondly, I tried to bind the VR Spy Glass to my Keyboard, but DCS only allows it to be bound to the Rift Controllers or Pedals.
In other modules it is possible to assign a keybind to this function (i.e. SU-25T)
