Oculus V43 big stutter fest

Still on V42, won't update to V43.

All info right now, like updating your headset is for Quest owners to get around the problem, Rift S is left in the drink and there is not much to find (and since the Oculus forums are a jungle to find stuff, i won't put my time in in). I did read that a possible cause was the code regarding updating to a Meta account (mandatory from 1/1/23 onwards). I'm still on my Oculus account, won't update before 1/1/23.

I didn't try any other game or running without a game when i had V43 installed, my only concern was DCS because that's 99,5% of my playtime.

Is anybody have found a procedure to chose the occulus version ?

 

the block method you give is working good, but the true need is to be able to test any recent version While waiting for a fix ( we hope a fix ! )

Hello,

I didn't seen any stutter within DCS with occulus runtime ' 43.0.0.196.173' ( fresh update )
I mean it's run like v42 was running on my rig ( I5 + Rift + 1080ti )

maybe i'll keep to disable the automatic upgrade,
and let other player to test about next occulus upgrade...;-)

I noticed V44 is out.

Anyone running v44 with Rift-S and still has issues if not on a Facebook or Meta account?
