mvsgas Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I can't believe I never seen this before, I know it is an old video but never notice. I thought it was funny http://www.youtube.com/watch?eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.f4forums.com%2Fforums%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D11503&v=FvOfZSn6qAk To whom it may concern, I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that. Thank you for you patience. Many people don't want the truth, they want constant reassurance that whatever misconception/fallacies they believe in are true..

Brit_Radar_Dude Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 Their 1st Bill et John movie had a number of nominations at the 2005 Machinima Awards (kinda like the Oscars but for movies made with computer games) and the 2nd Bill et John had nine nominations and won four Mackies at the 2006 Awards. Episode II took them a year or more to do. A lot of Hollywood style blue screen work was done. Great sound as well, nice use of stereo, try watching it wearing headphones. Watch it again and check out all the subtle touches and movie references.... The custom made different overcast skies The realistic smoke from the factory chimney Bill et John logo inside A-10 ladder door Tailcode BJ for Bill et John No smoking 50ft on reskinned fuel truck The perfect way the Maverick falls off the rail, tilting a little as the front lug comes off first. Red light in the Maverick nose as it awakes (tribute to the film 2001 a Space Oddysey (Stanley Kubrick) - HAL9000 computer) The little wisp of smoke from the tail before the Mav takes off Maverick speed and movement (inspired by the road-runner cartoon?) The traffic junction lights The rear and front turn lights on the truck The exhaust smoke from the truck Shadow of the Mavericks smoke trail in the river between the two bridges Red Master caution light and other yellow warning lights flashing inside the F-5 cockpit after he is hit. "HI THERE!" on the F-5 bomb (tribute to the film Dr Strangelove (Stanley Kubrick) - the nuke bomb that Slim Pickens rides has "Hi There" written on it) Music from The Shining (Stanley Kubrick) playing as Humvee drives to the farm. Humvee rocks forward a little when it stops Explosion rocks the General's Humvee Weather vane spins on the farm after the explosion Discarded underwear inside the KC-10 cockpit Everytime you watch you see another neat little touch in the background. B&J are still my all time favourite Lockon movies. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Sorry Death, you lose! It was Professor Plum....
