joker62 Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 Since Burble effect was introduced, I've disabled Wake turbulence, thus limiting the Burble effect (in my humble opinion with too high values). In this way, however, the aircraft on which I fly (FA-18) is no longer affected by the wake turbulence of other aircrafts. I think it is a good idea to add in Options> Gameplay (additional settings), Burble Effect ON / OFF (as it's already for Wake turbulence), so as to allow greater flexibility of choice. This request affects both FA-18 and SC, so I post it in both threads. The moderator will then eventually merge the threads. Thanks in adavance. 3
fagulha Posted August 22, 2022 Posted August 22, 2022 +1. I was eager for the Burble effect (i´m more a carrier ops guy and i love the Hornet) but i did too disabled Wake Turbulence for limiting the burble. In my humble opinion the burble values are to high when in close, or maybe the values are correct but the Hornet flight model may need tuning, nevertheless i hope it is WIP and something will be corrected. The older ones have been doing this too long and know better; sore necks make for poor sleep.' joker62 Posted August 22, 2022 Author Posted August 22, 2022 Hi fagulha, thanks for reply. I too was waiting for the burble effect and now, like you, I have also disabled wake urbulence. I understand that it is not easy to refine the burble effect and FA-18 flight model, and I really appreciate the efforts of ED, but in the meantime I have suggested this solution to allow us to take advantage of the wake turbulence again and have fun in landing FA-18 on the carrier. antonio. 1
