BlackBaron46 Posted August 25, 2022 Posted August 25, 2022 (edited) I've just noticed that since the update in June, all liveries now suddenly have this very pronounced strip along the top of their fuselage. And it's not just my own that it's happening too. The base liveries also have the same artifact. I've gone over my files again and again and it's not on any of the templates, so I'm not so sure it's a texture issue. See example below: Before After Edited August 25, 2022 by BlackBaron46
Doughguy Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 it appears to be different set in the smoothing group of the 3d model. as in 2 adjecant polygons normals arent smoothed out. if you compare the line of the last pic with the uvw mesh it should match, eventually being the top part of the texture island that is seperated from the sides etc. usually you only do this if you split uvw meshes (like in dcs) but have hard edge at that split. which isnt the case with the 47 in that area. this is also why i appears with any livery, as its in the 3d model itself. https://sr-f.de/

Think it's bug thread worthy? I mean if it's a problem with the 3D model itself I feel like it is.
razo+r Posted August 27, 2022 Posted August 27, 2022 (edited) It sure is worth a bug thread, but just don't expect them to fix that quickly... Edited August 27, 2022 by razo+r
