Keith Lovern Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 I Folks, I've had DCS World for a couple of days and was hoping someone could help me with a question I have. When I'm in the External View looking at my Aircraft is there anyway to lock the view? Because when the aircraft turns the view changes and follows the movement of the aircraft and i would like the view to remained fixed and be able control the view with the POV or Mouse. Any Help would be appreciated Thanks Keith L. A.K.A Noobie I know I Posted this in the wrong Forum. Keith L.
Rudel_chw Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Check YouTube, plenty of tutorials on camera controls, for example: For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Quati Posted August 30, 2022 Posted August 30, 2022 Use F4. With the numpad keys (not sure if I changed that for me or if is the default keys) you can move the camera and with the mouse you rotate and it will be locked with your plane (like a fixed action camera). There's also Alt+F4 (really not a joke, look at the controls options) you have a more "dynamic" chase view.
