justind210 Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 When I try to start DCS open beta in VR, the game crashes before ever reaching the main menu. This was originally happening whether I was launching in 2D or VR. I looked around here for solutions and found a common recommendation is to rename the options.lua file in the config folder to force the game to create a new one on start up. That allowed me to launch in 2D, but the game will now crash if I try to launch in VR. Any subsequent launches after that, even in 2D result in the same crash and I have to rename the options.lua file again. I've tried running the updater and repair tool with no luck. The crash message and failure log has been uploaded for reference. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm using the HP Reverb G2 and my system is all up to date. I also posted this in the VR Bug Section, but I think its appropriate here also. Any help would be appreciated! dcs.log-20220902-020000.zip 1
